We would like to say thank you to the following people, companies and councils in there help in getting NCI Newhaven up and running.
Many thanks to Newhaven Town Council for their grant, assistance in start up and for legal help, NCI Headquarters, Newhaven Services Dart charity night donation, Newhaven Conserative Club for letting us to use their function room for our training, NHDSA member for donating a VHF radio, Artex for donating paint, B&Q for donating paint, Russell Simpson for donating navigation charts and a pair of compass binoculars, Royal Society of St George for the donation of one pair of binoculars, an all in one scanner and printer and two portable electris radiators. The Gannet Foundation in helping fund the Lookout refurbishment, St Ives NCI donation of binoculars, Portland NCI for the cheap Radar and the local people of Newhaven for putting money in our collecting tins which are dotted around Newhaven Pubs, Clubs and shops. ESCC Chairman is making a donation and to any tradesman that have helped in refurbishing the lookout. We also have moral suport from Newhaven Lifeboat. Thank you to anyone who has donated prizes for raffles. If you have donated something and you are not listed then please accept our apologies. Contact us and we will update the website. If you would like to help NCI Newhaven by volunteering as a watch keeper. The only thing you need is good eyesight, good hearing and be able to climb ladders (these ladders will be replaced by a staircase early in 2009) and be available during the week or weekend.
